Come to Old Sage Farm for a day that’s – Just For You! We offer 2 sessions and 2 class options for each! This is a great way to learn new techniques and projects.
Morning Session: 9:30am – 1pm (includes light breakfast and lunch)
Wire Work for Beginners (and those that need a reminder) – come out and learn the art of wire work. You will learn the basics from plain loops, wrapped loops to spirals and other connectors. This class is designed for you to practice your wire work and learn something new. You will not complete a project during this session.
Stained Glass Polymer Clay – learn something new in polymer clay. We will start with the basics – conditioning clay, choosing your clay, tools of the trade. Then, we create our “stained glass” clay using alcohol inks. Once you have your completed project, you will cut out a few rectangles and we bake them to complete the necklace. You will create a necklace in this class.
Afternoon Session: 12pm – 3:30pm (includes lunch)
Wire Work part II – Use your new wire work skills (those that you didn’t forget during lunch) and put them into action. You will create either 2 bracelets or 1 necklace (your choice). Choose your gemstone, make your connectors and wrap the gemstones. You’ll learn how to connect everything and you’ll be on your way to making even more jewelry!
Right Angle Weave – You’ve heard of RAW – but have you ever tried it? We have simplified the right angle weave. You’ll use beadalon to create your bracelets. Choose from several different samples. Amy will show you how to crimp, which beading wire to use, and help you create one of these fun and easy bracelets!
Choose 1 session (and lunch) for $40.00 per person.
Choose 2 sessions (and lunch and breakfast) for $65.00 per person.

Wire Coil Memory Wire Bracelet: You will learn to use the Cobra Coiler to create wire coils and beads. Then, we will add those, along with glass, metal and acrylic beads to our memory wire, multi-strand bracelet. You will complete a bracelet in this class.
Wire Wrapped Stones and Pendants: You will learn some basic wire wrapping techniques to use on cabachons, pendants and stones. Once you learn the basics, you’ll be able to create beautiful wire wrapped jewelry! You will complete a wire wrapped pendant/stone.

“Diamond Duo” Beaded Chain Bracelet: Let Donna show you how to add beads to this chain bracelet base. You’ll choose between several combinations of colors. Then, using Donna’s newest tool, you’ll be able to work your beads through chain to make this fun and unique bracelet. You will complete 1 bracelet in this class.
Mokume Gane in Polymer Clay: Amy will show you this layering polymer clay technique. By adding layers of clay, gold foil and alcohol inks, you’ll create these beautiful designs. You will be able to create several pieces of baked clay. We will add one to a bezel setting that can be used as a necklace!

Don’t miss our annual BEAD SALE! Great prices on all beads – metal, glass, acrylic, spacer beads, focal beads, cabochons, crystals… ALL BEADS! Prices start at 50 cents for a bag. We need to clear out some of our inventory so we have room for new items this fall. We will also have suede, wire, leather and other items. Once they are gone, they are gone so get here early for the best selection.
We are also hosting a Make It and Take It class! We are offering a short class to make a suede bracelet (colors and bead choices will vary) with magnetic clasp. For just $10.00 per bracelet!!
